摘要: A centrifugal compressor for compressing gas has a casing, a rotary shaft, an impeller, a diffuser, a first scroll, a second scroll, a first passage, a second passage, and a switching member. The rotary shaft is supported by the casing. The impeller is rotatably fixed to the rotary shaft, and sends the gas radially outward to a flow path downstream thereof. The diffuser is formed around the impeller. The first scroll is formed around the diffuser. The second scroll is formed between the diffuser and the impeller. The first passage is formed from the impeller to the first scroll through the diffuser. The second passage is formed from the impeller to the second scroll. The switching member switches the flow path between the first passage and the second passage by opening and closing the diffuser.

摘要: An ultrasound treatment system comprises an ultrasonic transducer, a handpiece, a probe, a sheath, a clamping member, an operation unit, an operating member, a suction base, and a perfusion base. The ultrasonic transducer generates ultrasonic vibrations. The handpiece has the ultrasonic transducer incorporated therein. The probe is connected to the ultrasonic transducer for transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to a distal member realizing a stationary portion that is a treatment portion for treating a living tissue. The sheath serves as a protecting member for shielding the probe. The clamping member is opposed to the distal member at the distal end of the sheath for clamping a living tissue in cooperation with the distal member. The operation unit is manipulated for clamping a living tissue with the clamping member and distal member or freeing the living tissue therefrom.

摘要: Piezoelectric vibrating pieces are disclosed having selectively roughened surfaces. An exemplary piece is made of a piezoelectric material configured as a piezoelectric substrate. The piece also includes at least one excitation electrode and at least one extraction electrode. The substrate has opposing main surfaces initially having low surface roughness. At least one main surface is formed in a mesa or reverse mesa manner, wherein the central region has a different thickness than the peripheral region. The central region has relatively low surface roughness (irregular unevenness), while the peripheral region has relatively high surface roughness. The excitation electrode is formed on the central region (mesa or reverse mesa) while the extraction electrode (connected to the excitation electrode) is formed on the peripheral region.

摘要: An exemplary method for a producing a piezoelectric vibrating piece having at least one mesa step includes forming a metal film on a main surface of a piezoelectric wafer. A through-groove is formed through the thickness of the wafer to form a plan profile of a desired piezoelectric substrate. A film of photoresist is formed on the surface of the metal film. A resist is applied, exposed, and formed into a resist pattern that defines a first mesa step along at least a portion of the plan profile. In regions not protected by the metal film, the piezoelectric substrate is etched to a defined depth to form a mesa step. The denuded edge surface of the metal film is edge-etched. A second mesa step, inboard of the first mesa step, can be formed by repeating the edge-etching and substrate-etching steps using the metal film as an etch protective film.

摘要: The present invention provides an optical module having a pluggable configuration, which enables to latch with the cage when the optical connector is mated with the receptacle. The optical module of the present invention is secured in the cage by latching the latch of the cage and the projection of the module. The actuator of the module, having a slab protruding into the optical receptacle, is able to slide along the direction the module is inserted into the cage. When the optical connector is in the optical receptacle, the slab of the actuator butts the optical connector and is prohibited to slide, accordingly, the optical module can not released from the cage.

摘要: The present invention provides an optical transceiver that reduces the EMI noise leaked from a portion between the receptacle body and the optical subassembly. The transceiver of the invention comprises the optical subassembly, the substrate, and the upper and lower housings. The subassembly built with the receptacle body is assembled with the housing as movable in vertical position. The assembly between the subassembly and the receptacle body is carried out by inserting the sleeve of the subassembly into the opening of the receptacle body. The cross section of the opening has an extended circular shape combined with a pair of flat portion in both sides thereof and a pair of arched portion connecting the flat portions. The interval between the flat portions is smaller than the diameter of the sleeve, while the diameter of the arched portion is greater than that of the sleeve. Since the sleeve is inserted into the opening as expanding the flat portions, not only no gap may be formed therebetween to prevent the EMI noise from leaking out but also the receptacle body may securely hold the subassembly.

摘要: An ultrasonic treatment device includes a handpiece, a probe, a sheath, and a lifting operation portion. A distal end portion of the probe has a puncture portion that transmits ultrasonic oscillation from an ultrasonic oscillator in the handpiece to a living-body wall part and punctures the living-body wall part. The sheath includes a cylindrical member having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion. The sheath together with the probe is passed through the living-body wall part by puncture. The lifting operation portion is provided on the sheath. The lifting operation portion is engaged with the living-body wall part at a time of performing a pull-up operation of pulling up the sheath in a direction opposite to a direction of puncture through the living-body wall part, thereby performing an operation of lifting the living-body wall part.
