摘要: In a camera where the light metering circuit is supplied with electrical power by pushing the shutter release button to a first stroke, an electrical power supply circuit is constructed in such a way that when the time for which the shutter release button remains at the first stroke exceeds the prescribed period of time, the electrical power supply is stopped, and then when the release button is pushed down further to a second stroke, the electrical power supply starts again.

摘要: An interchangeable lens barrel includes connection terminals on a part of the lens barrel for sending and receiving electrical signals to and from a photographic apparatus. The lens barrel part is provided with a mechanism for protecting the connection terminals by covering the terminals when the lens barrel is removed from the photographic apparatus. When the lens barrel is mounted on the photographic apparatus, the protecting mechanism is retracted from the terminals to allow for connection with corresponding terminals on the photographic apparatus.

摘要: An information setting device for a camera comprises a plurality of manual operation switches for setting varied kinds of information. Among these switches, when a plurality of switches are simultaneously operated, there obtains a specific setting mode for setting information of a kind different from information of other kinds to be set by individually operating these switches. In the event of thus selecting the specific setting mode, this mode remains unchanged even when at least one of the simultaneously operated switches becomes inoperative.

摘要: A film drive device for a camera in which the film is transported by an electric motor as the drive source, comprises detecting means for detecting that the winding of all the frames of the film is complete, manually operable switching means for forcibly changing over the film to a rewind state, and operation control means for shifting from a film windup state to the film rewind state. The operation control means makes a first operation of shifting to the film rewind state in response to the completion of the winding by the detecting means and a second operation of shifting to the film rewind state by the operation of the switching means different from each other. Therefore, an efficient shifting to the rewind state can be performed.

摘要: In a system for setting the aperture in a camera for flash photography, a minimum aperture is computed in response to parameters such as distance to an object, stroboscopic guide number and film sensitivity. In one embodiment, a predetermined aperture value is preestablished in the system and the computed minimum aperture is compared therewith. Where the computed minimum aperture is below such predetermined aperture value, such computed minimum aperture is used in flash photography. On the other hand, when the computed minimum aperture is above such predetermined aperture value, an aperture larger than the predetermined minimum aperture value is used in flash photography. Other embodiments for flash aperture setting are also set forth.

摘要: The present invention relates to a photographic information setting device having a switch arranged to turn on and off and generate digital data when a stepwise operating member changes its position, wherein the turning on and off of the switch is detected with the help of current supply to the switch to renew the digital data until a desired value of any exposure factor is preset. In the present invention, when the aforesaid stepwise operating member lies in any of click-stopped positions, the current supply to the switch is cut off to prevent wasteful consumption of electrical energy. The number of times of turning on and off of the switch is once stored in a counter, and, upon detection of turning on and off of the switch, a computer reads out the content of the counter so that the renewed digital data are formed in the interior of the computer.
