Abstract: A windshield having a motor edge, a roof edge, and two side edges running therebetween, at least including a first pane having an outer surface and an interior-side surface and a second pane having an outer surface and an interior-side surface, wherein the interior-side surface of the first pane and the outer surface of the second pane are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, and wherein the first thermoplastic intermediate layer includes, at least in a first portion, a first polymer film with a first stiffness and in a second portion includes a second polymer film with a second stiffness, the second stiffness is greater than the first stiffness, the second portion is arranged along the motor edge and extends from the motor edge in the direction of the roof edge of the windshield.

Abstract: A windshield having an engine edge, a roof edge, and two side edges running between them, includes an outer pane made of glass with an outer surface and an interior-side surface and an inner pane made of glass with an outer surface and an interior-side surface, wherein the interior-side surface of the outer pane and the outer surface of the inner pane are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, and the windshield includes a first partial region, in which a transparent cover print including enamel is applied to the outer pane and/or inner pane, the first partial region is arranged along the engine edge and extends from the engine edge in the direction of the roof edge of the windshield, and the windshield has a transmission of at least 70% in the visible range of the light spectrum in the first partial region, at least in portions.
