Abstract: A substrate coated on one of its faces with a stack of thin layers having reflection properties in the infrared and/or in solar radiation, including two metallic functional layers, in particular on the basis of silver. Each of the metallic functional layers is disposed between two dielectric coatings. The coating includes at least two absorbent layers which absorb solar radiation in the visible part of the spectrum, which is disposed at least in two different dielectric coatings.

Abstract: A solar control glass article includes a transparent substrate provided with a thin multilayer coating having solar control properties. The thin multilayer coating includes an absorber layer sandwiched between a first and second transparent dielectric layers, a functional layer protected by an upper and lower blocker layers and a third transparent dielectric layer provided over the upper blocker layer. The thickness of the functional layer and the thickness of the transparent dielectric layers are adjusted to give a gold colored reflection on a surface opposite to the first surface of the transparent substrate provided with a thin multilayer coating.

Abstract: A material includes a transparent substrate deposited with a stack of thin layers on at least one of its surface for thermal insulation and aesthetic properties is disclosed. The stack of thin layers successively includes, starting from the substrate not more than two metallic functional layers based on silver F1, F2 and three dielectric coatings M1, M2, M3 including at least one dielectric layer such that each of the metallic functional layer is sandwiched between two dielectric coatings. The material including the stack of thin layers exhibits blue color in external reflection (Rext) and has less than 20% reflection internally and externally. Additionally, the material has a high selectivity while retaining a light transmission in the visible spectrum as less as 40%, and not higher than 50%.

Abstract: A coated solar control glass article includes a transparent substrate provided with a multilayer coating having solar control properties is disclosed. The multilayer coating includes a metal nitride functional layer sandwiched between two transparent dielectric layers. The thickness of the dielectric layer provided above the functional layer is greater than 60 nm and less than 150 nm and the thickness of the dielectric layer provided above the transparent substrate is greater than 10 nm and less than 45 nm. The coated solar control glass article exhibits gold/rose/purple colored reflection on the side opposite to the side provided with the multilayer coating.
