Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel including a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, where the peripheral area includes a bending area extending from one side thereof, a cover window arranged on the display area of the display panel, an adhesive layer between the display panel and the cover window, and a protective layer covering the bending area and in contact with the adhesive layer, where a modulus of the adhesive layer is less than a modulus of the protective layer.
