Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate facing the first substrate, a first electrode on the first substrate, a pixel defining layer on the first substrate, the pixel defining layer including an opening corresponding to the first electrode, a light emission layer on the first electrode, a second electrode on the light emission layer, a filler between the first substrate and the second substrate, and scattering particles in the filler, the scattering particles having an average particle diameter that is less than a maximum height of the pixel defining layer.
