Abstract:
A graphical user interface, method and apparatus for providing visual effects on a touchscreen display, including: displaying a first screen; detecting a multi-point touch on the first screen; detecting a first touch event based on the multi-point touch; turning the first screen into a garbage object in response to the first touch event; and removing the garbage object by moving the garbage object to a trash bin icon.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for displaying a page are capable of transferring a realistic feeling like reading a paper book when a user reads an electronic book. The method of displaying a page of a portable terminal including a touch screen, includes: displaying a page of an electronic book; detecting a point which corresponds to a user input with respect to the displayed page; detecting a moving direction associated with the user input; and displaying the page as being convexly curved in response to the detected point and the moving direction associated with the user input to animate a page turning operation.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for turning pages in a terminal including an electronic book reader function for turning pages according to user input information associated with pages and an apparatus thereof. The method of turning pages in a portable terminal having a touch screen includes: displaying a page of an electronic book on the touch screen; detecting a touch in a first corner region of the page of the electronic book; changing the first corner region into a second corner region in response to the touch; detecting a continuous motion of the touch in the second corner region; and turning the displayed page in response to the continuous motion of the touch.
Abstract:
A page display method is provided that detects information related to pages of an e-book that the user inputs in a mobile device with a touch screen, and displays the pages on the touch screen, according to the detection. A system adapted to the method is also provided. The method includes: displaying a page of an e-book on the touch screen in a preset mode; detecting a touch at a spot on the displayed page; detecting a press by detecting a contact period of time of the detected touch; and, in response to at least one of a location of the spot and a strength of the detected press, displaying the spot on the page as being deformed.
