Abstract: A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus may include a display panel, an optical member that is disposed behind the display panel and that is configured to guide light to the display panel, a light source that is configured to irradiate light to the optical member, a holder that is configured to support the display panel and the optical member, and a contraction member that is disposed parallel to the optical member, and that comprises a negative thermal expansion (NTE) substance.
