Abstract: An electronic device includes memory storing instructions, a radar configured to transmit an electromagnetic signal and receive a radar signal which is a reflected signal of the electromagnetic signal, the reflected signal being reflected from at least one target object, a touch pad configured to detect a touch of a user based on a designated touch threshold value, and at least one processor operatively coupled with the memory, the radar, and the touch pad. The instructions may, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to: obtain the radar signal received by the radar; identify, based on the radar signal, a surrounding environment of the electronic device, and adjust the touch threshold value based on the surrounding environment.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for measuring heart rate are disclosed. A heart rate measuring method of an electronic device, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: capturing an image including a user's face; grouping the user's face, included in the image, into a plurality of regions including a plurality of pixels of similar colors; acquiring an information on a user's heart rate by inputting information on the plurality of grouped regions to an artificial intelligence learning model; and outputting the acquired information on heart rate. Therefore, the electronic device can measure the user's heart rate more accurately through the captured image.

Abstract: An example apparatus and an example method for detecting user's exercise information in an exercise system are disclosed. An example electronic device includes: at least one sensor; a human body communication circuitry; a conductive member electrically connected with the human body communication circuitry and exposed for user contact; and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to detect a user's contact to the conductive member, to control the human body communication circuitry to transmit at least one piece of user information to an external device through a body of the user, and, when exercise information is received from the external device, to store the exercise information.
