Abstract: An electronic device, including a communication module configured to communicate with a pen input device which is attachable to the electronic device; a tilt sensor configured to sense information about a tilt of the electronic device; a memory configured to store instructions; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication module, and configured to execute the instructions to: determine an attachment state of the pen input device with respect to the electronic device based on a wireless charging state of the pen input device, a tilt sensing value of the pen input device, and a tilt sensing value of the electronic device; and based on the attachment state, control a wireless charging current for charging the pen input device, and selectively display an attachment guide of the pen input device
