Abstract: An image display apparatus may include a memory storing one or more instructions; and a processor for executing the one or more instructions to execute an application stored in the memory in a first state in which a rendering operation of a plurality of operations of the application is deactivated, and in response to a user input selecting the application executed in the first state, execute the application in a second state in which the plurality of operations including the rendering operation are activated, wherein the rendering operation includes graphic processing for outputting an execution screen of the application.
