Abstract: A display apparatus includes an input unit receiving a user command for configuring a main user interface (UI) screen for controlling content reproduction, and a controller configuring the main UI screen including at least one UI element selected by the user command and display the main UI screen configured according to the user command on a display, wherein the at least one UI element is a graphic element to which a function associated with the content reproduction is mapped.
