Abstract: A foldable electronic device may include a flexible display, a sensor circuit, a processor and a memory. The foldable electronic device may be such that it: executes an application on the basis of a first mode, if a folding angle is within a first range; identifies a folding angle via the sensor circuit according to a first cycle while the application is executed in the first mode; if the identified folding angle is not within the first range, switches the execution mode of the application from the first mode to a second mode; and changes the range for switching the execution mode of the application from the first range to the second range based on at least one of the identified folding angles.
