Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel configured to display images; at least one light source configured to supply light to the liquid crystal panel; a front chassis member and a rear chassis member configured to accommodate the liquid crystal panel and the light source module and a circuit board configured to control the liquid crystal display apparatus. The rear chassis member may include a light source supporting portion supporting the at least one light source and a plurality of side surface portions extending from the light source supporting portion to the rear chassis member.
