Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a content interface, a communication interface and a controller configured to receive content from a content source through the content interface, encode image frames comprised in the content according to an encoding mode, and transmit the encoded image frames to a display apparatus through the communication interface. The controller encodes the image frames according to a first encoding option in a first encoding mode and encodes the image frames according to a second encoding option having a different encoding time delay from that of the first encoding option in a second encoding mode.
