Abstract: A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes: a communication interface; a display; at least one memory storing one or more instructions; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to execute the one or more instructions, and wherein the one or more instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the display apparatus to: control the display to display content received from an electronic apparatus through the communication interface on a first area of the display, based on a size of the first area being adjusted according to a user command, transmit information regarding the adjusted size to the electronic apparatus through the communication interface, and based on receiving additional content corresponding to the resized first area from the electronic apparatus, control the display to display the additional content on the resized first area.
