    Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for managing a floor request in a mission critical communication system. The method includes receiving a floor request message from a first floor participant and determining that a call type of the first floor participant is identical to a call type of a second floor participant, wherein a floor is currently occupied by the second floor participant. Further, the method includes managing the floor request of the first floor participant based on an effective priority of the floor request.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and system for managing mission critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) communication. The method includes receiving, by a floor control server, a first floor request message, from a primary floor participant, while a floor is granted to a secondary floor participant and a first media transmission is performed by the secondary floor participant; in response to receiving the first floor request message, transmitting, by the floor control server, to the secondary floor participant, a first floor revoke message for stopping the first media transmission of the secondary floor participant, and transmitting, by the floor control server, a first floor grant message to the primary floor participant; and transmitting, by the floor control server, a first floor taken message to the secondary floor participant, wherein the first floor taken message includes information of the primary floor participant granted the floor.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Accordingly, embodiments herein disclose a method for providing service(s) to an edge application server (EAS) in an edge data network (EDN). The method includes receiving, by an EES, an EAS usage indication from an edge enabler client (EEC) of a user equipment (UE), where the EAS usage indication comprises at least one parameter.
