    Abstract: An electronic device comprising an antenna is provided. The electronic device includes a lateral member forming at least one region of the lateral surface of the electronic device, the lateral member including a first conductive portion, a second conductive portion, and a first non-conductive portion, a printed circuit board connected to one end of the second conductive portion, which is adjacent to the first conductive portion, and including a first region and a ground, the first region including a conductive layer, and a wireless communication circuit disposed on the printed circuit board. The conductive layer of the first region may be electrically connected to the ground, the first conductive portion may receive power from the wireless communication circuit at a first point and be grounded via the printed circuit board at a second point, and the second conductive portion may receive power from the wireless communication circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing connected to the first housing through a connection member and a wireless communication circuit. A first portion of a first edge of the first housing is formed of a conductive material, an insulating member is disposed on one end of the first portion, and a conductive region of the connection member is connected to another end of the first portion, and a first point of the first portion is connected to a feed point through a capacitor. The second housing includes a second edge having a second length corresponding to the first length, a second portion of the second edge is formed of a conductive material, an opening formed adjacently along the second portion, an insulating member is disposed on one end of the second portion, and the conductive region of the connection member is connected to another end of the second portion, and a switch is disposed between a first point of the second portion and a ground region. The wireless communication circuit may control the switch to electrically open the first point of the second portion and the ground region.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: an emitter; a communication circuit electrically connected to the emitter and configured to transmit or receive a signal by using the emitter; a sensor circuit electrically connected to the emitter and configured to measure a capacitance corresponding to an external object adjacent to the emitter; a frequency adjustment circuit electrically connected to the emitter and capable of adjusting a resonance frequency of the emitter; and a processor, wherein, the processor is configured to: confirm the capacitance corresponding to the external object by using the sensor circuit while performing communication with an external device by using the communication circuit; set the frequency adjustment circuit to a first mode when the capacitance falls under a specified first range, and perform the communication by using the communication circuit in a state in which the frequency adjustment circuit is set to the first mode; and set the frequency adjustment circuit to a second mode when the capacitance falls under a specified second range, and perform the communication by using the communication circuit in a state in which the frequency adjustment circuit is set to the second mode. Other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include at least one housing including a rear cover, a conductive structure disposed in an inner space of the at least one housing, and a first antenna structure in the inner space, the first antenna structure including a substrate including a first substrate surface and a second substrate surface facing in an opposite direction to the first substrate surface; and a plurality of antenna elements disposed on the substrate. The plurality of antenna elements are configured to transmit signals in a direction towards the conductive structure. The first antenna structure may be disposed such that the first substrate surface faces in a first direction so as to face the conductive structure. The conductive structure is configured to change direction of the signals transmitted by the plurality of antenna elements to form a beam pattern through the rear cover.
