Abstract: An apparatus for controlling multi-user permissions in a terminal is provided. The apparatus includes a memory configured to store a permission setting value for a function based on subscription information of a main user, which is set in an account of each of at least one sub user, among the main user and the at least one sub user, who may use the terminal, and a controller configured to, if the terminal is logged in with an account of a specific sub user among the at least one sub user, perform a function based on the subscription information of the main user depending on the permission setting value which is set in the account of the specific sub user, with which the terminal is logged in.
