Abstract: An image processing device is provided. The image processing device includes an image signal processor for processing a raw image received from a camera and a memory for storing a previous frame of the raw image and an intermediate image generated by the processing, wherein the image signal processor estimates an initial global motion vector between the previous frame and a current frame, receives focus region information in the raw image, divides the raw image into a foreground (FG) region and a background (BG) region based on the focus region information, generates a final global motion vector by divisionally updating the initial global motion vector based on the FG region and the BG region, performs motion compensation by applying the final global motion vector to the previous frame, and outputs a final image by blending the motion-compensated previous frame with the current frame.

Abstract: An electronic device comprises a camera module and an image signal processor. The camera module generates and outputs gyro data and frame data for an input image. The image signal processor comprises a motion vector module which calculates motion vector information, a gyro-based motion estimator which extracts camera rotation information of the camera module from the gyro data, a motion vector-based motion estimator which extracts frame rotation information from the frame data, an optical image stabilization (OIS) two-dimensional (2D) translation information estimator which estimates OIS 2D translation information based on the motion vector information, the camera rotation information, and the frame rotation information, and a camera path optimizer which filters out a low-frequency component from the OIS 2D translation information and calculates stabilized camera motion information of the camera module using the filtered OIS 2D translation information and the camera rotation information.
