Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which effectively suppresses the occurrence of localized contact caused by deformation of a fixed scroll or a movable scroll due to the influence of a compressive reaction force or thermal expansion and shortens a break-in time. [Solution] Laps 24 and 32 of a fixed scroll 21 and a movable scroll 22 are constituted to have a plurality of step portions between a winding end portion at an outermost periphery and a winding start portion at an innermost periphery and decrease stepwise in height toward the winding start portion from the winding end portion. The position and height of each step portion are set so that when the spiral laps 24 and 32 are expanded on a predetermined plane, a base point of each step portion is placed on a predetermined arc drawn on the plane.

Abstract: The scroll-type compressor comprises a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll engaged with each other; a back pressure control valve 50 inserted from the large-diameter side of the stepped-shaped pressure release passage L4 which communicates between a suction chamber H1 and a back pressure chamber H3 which applies a back pressure for pressing the orbiting scroll against the fixed scroll. The scroll-type compressor further comprises an O-ring 60 fitted in a circumferential groove 53a formed in the outer peripheral surface of the valve 50, and a ring member 61 press-fitted into the large-diameter side of the pressure release passage L4, and holds the valve 50 between the ring member 61 and the stepped portion. Then, the compressive stress is unlikely to be applied to the valve 50, and the deformation of the valve 50 is reduced to prevent the reduction in the control accuracy of the back pressure.

[Solution] A scroll compressor 1 includes a back pressure chamber 39 formed in a back surface of a mirror plate 31 of a movable scroll 22 in the scroll compressor 1, and a communication hole 51 which is formed in the mirror plate 31 of the movable scroll 22 and communicates the back pressure chamber 39 and a compression chamber 3-1 with each other. The communication hole 51 is constituted of a large-diameter hole section 52 located on the back pressure chamber 33 side of the mirror plate 31 of the movable scroll 22, and a small-diameter hole section 53 which continues from the large-diameter hole section 52 to reach the compression chamber 34.-

Abstract: [Problem] A scroll compressor is provided which is capable of effectively reducing a pressure loss in a pathway extending from a discharge space to a discharge port.
[Solution] The scroll compressor includes a discharge space 27 formed in a compressing mechanism cover 9 of a housing 11, a discharge hole 26 which is formed in a fixed scroll 21 and discharges a compressed refrigerant to the discharge space, a discharge port 51 which discharges the refrigerant to the outside of the housing, a relief passage 71 which communicates the discharge space and the discharge port with each other, and a differential pressure valve 74 which is provided in the relief passage and opens in accordance with a pressure difference between the discharge space and the discharge port. The relief passage opens in the discharge space above the discharge hole.
