Abstract: An electro-optical device includes two substrates (a first substrate and a second substrate) respectively having ends overlapped with each other and coupled to an electro-optical panel. Other ends of the two substrates respectively serve as a first terminal region and a second terminal region. The second substrate includes a third extended portion extending linearly to overlap with a first extended portion of the first substrate in a thickness direction, and a fourth extended portion extending to a position different from a position of a second extended portion of the first substrate to allow the first terminal region and the second terminal region to be away from each other in a direction intersecting with an extending direction of the third extended portion and to not overlap with each other in the thickness direction.
