Abstract: An array of dust shutter plate connected to a body by a flexible bridge member. The body holds one or more dust shutter plate, a corresponding bridge member, and an actuator that opens the dust shutter or moves the dust shutter plate from a closed position covering an opening in the alignment sleeve holder to an open position, so the connector ferrule can be accepted into an opening at one end of the alignment sleeve holder.
