    Abstract: A method for driving a display panel, a driving chip and a display device are provided to ameliorate image retention and improve the display performance. The method includes: monitoring a static pattern in a first display image and defining an area where the static pattern is located as a first area when a display brightness value of the area and a display brightness value of an area where a background pattern thereof is located satisfy a first preset condition; and controlling the static pattern to move during displaying of the first display image, or adjusting grayscale values of sub-pixels in a second area during displaying of a second display image, to which the first display image jumps, the second area being an area, corresponding to the first area in the second display image and having a display brightness value lower than a display brightness value of the first area.

The display panel includes a base substrate; a plurality of gate lines extending in a row direction and a plurality of data lines extending in a column direction arranged on the base substrate, and the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines intersect in an insulation manner to define a plurality of pixel circuit regions including a plurality of pixel circuits; a plurality of sub-pixel regions arranged on the base substrate, and each of the plurality of sub-pixel regions includes a light-emitting element, a corresponding one of the plurality of pixel circuits provides a driving signal to the light-emitting element, and the light-emitting element includes an anode, a light-emitting layer and a cathode which are sequentially stacked at a side of the base substrate; and a plurality of light-emitting control signal lines arranged on the base substrate.

    Abstract: Provided is an organic light-emitting display panel including gate lines, data lines intersecting with gate lines in an insulation manner, pins located in pin region; and sub-pixel units, each including cathode layer; an anode layer, and light-emitting layer between cathode layer and anode layer.
