Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automated scanning system and method. The method may include obtaining region information of a region. The method may also include determining, based on the region information, a route from a start position of a scanning apparatus to a target position. The method may further include causing the scanning apparatus to move to the target position along the route. The method may still further include identifying a target portion of a subject based on image data obtained from at least one optical device set on the scanning apparatus, and causing the scanning apparatus to scan the target portion of the subject.
