Abstract: A method for installing a cover strip between a roofing membrane and an edge metal flashing positioned over a portion of the roofing membrane, includes using a cover strip or a self-adhering cover strip to bridge a joint formed between the edge metal flashing and the roofing membrane. One end of the cover strip is indirectly or directly bonded to the edge metal flashing by using an adhesive whereas the other end is heat-welded or adhesively bonded to the roofing membrane.
