Abstract: The present invention has the object of providing a shot processing machine capable of constraining the spilling over and dropping of projection material to outside the projection chamber. The shot processing machine of the invention is a shot processing machine for performing surface treatment by projecting projection material onto a workpiece inside a projection chamber, comprising: a cabinet inside of which a projection chamber is formed, an opening disposed on the cabinet for loading and discharging workpieces; and a door movably attached to the cabinet, for opening and closing the opening, whereby a projection material adhesion prevention mechanism for preventing the adhesion of projection material is provided on the inside of the door.

Abstract: A shot processing apparatus in which a projection machine projects projection media onto a workpiece. The shot processing apparatus includes plural hanger transport devices and a control unit. The hanger transport devices are each, in a hanging state of a member on which a workpiece is set or a hanging state of a workpiece, capable of moving along a guide path inside the shot processing apparatus and capable of stopping. The hanger transport devices are also capable of providing self-identifying identification information. The control unit controls the hanger transport devices by outputting to each of the plural hanger transport devices a control signal appropriate to each of the hanger transport devices. This control is based on the identification information provided from each of the individual hanger transport devices and based on information related to each of the individual hanger transport devices stored in advance in association with the identification information.

Abstract: A shot processing apparatus is equipped with a work set jig, a hanger transport device, a projection machine, a projection positioning unit and a clamp unit. The work set jig is equipped with a base member including an upper and lower pair of cross members and a vertical member. A workpiece is settable at the base member between the upper and lower pair of cross members. The hanger transport device is, with the work set jig in a hanging state, movable along a guide path in the shot processing apparatus and is capable of stopping thereon. The projection machine projects projection media at a workpiece set at the base member inside a projection chamber which the workpiece is conveyed into. The projection positioning unit positions the work set jig at a stopping position in the projection chamber. The clamp unit fixes a workpiece between the upper and lower pair of cross members.
