Abstract: Debarking method and apparatus wherein limb sections to be debarked and a plurality of smaller, substantially higher density objects are disposed in a vaned chamber which is rotated about a horizontal axis. The high density objects are thereby caused to randomly impact the surface of the limb sections to separate the bark from the wood.
