Abstract: The present invention pertains to a solid material according to general formula (I) as follows and to a method for producing said solid material: Li7-2x-yMgxPS6-yXy (I) wherein: X is a halogen selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, I and Br or a combination thereof; x is a number such as 0.01≤x≤0.35 and y is a number such as 1.3≤y≤1.6. The present disclosure also refers to the use of this solid material as solid electrolyte notably for electrochemical devices such as batteries.
