摘要： There are disclosed N-(oxymethyl) derivatives of phosphonopolyamino-s-triazines, such as 2,4-bis-(hydroxymethyl)6-(0,0''-diethylphosphonomethyl)-s-triazine and the corresponding 2,4-bis(methoxymethyl) derivative. These compounds are produced by reaction of the corresponding amine, e.g., 2,4-diamino-6(0,0''-diethylphosphonomethyl)-s-triazine, with formaldehyde, either alone or in combination with an alkanol, such as methanol, in aqueous medium. The products are useful either alone or in combination with organo-nitrogen compounds as flame-retardant agents for cellulose. A durable treatment is obtained by insolubilization with acidic catalysts or hydrogen peroxide.
