Abstract: A signal is protected against an attack by an enhancement process that checks the conformity of an actual state of the signal with respect to an expected state. Abstract: A system includes a time of flight (TOF) ranging sensor, and a processor coupled to the TOF ranging sensor. The processor executes an operating system commanded by an input sub-program thereof. Execution of the input sub-program causes the processor to interpret command motions sensed via the TOF ranging sensor in one of a plurality of command interpretation modes, generate commands for the operating system based on the interpreted command motions, and switch among the plurality of command interpretation modes based upon sensing of a mode switch motion via the TOF ranging sensor.
