Abstract: A rotatable scale arrangement for strip chart recorders and the like for providing access to recorder writing elements from the front of the instrument. A mechanism is provided for simultaneously rotating each of a plurality of elongated flat strips, adapted to include scale markings, from a position facing the front of the recorder to a position normal thereto, wherein a substantially wider separation is provided between the strips for removal or insertion of the writing elements.
