    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel comprising two pixels spaced apart from each other and a transmission area between the two pixels. An input sensing section is disposed on the display panel and comprises sensing electrodes and trace lines electrically connected to the sensing electrodes. A metal layer is on the display panel. The metal layer is disposed between the two pixels and surrounds the transmission area. The metal layer comprises a first hole located in the transmission area. The first hole has a first width. An optical functional section is on the metal layer. The optical functional section includes a second hole that overlaps the first hole. The second hole has a second width that is greater than the first width.

    Abstract: An electronic device including an electronic module, a sensing unit divided into a hole area overlapping the electronic module, an active area surrounding the hole area, and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area. A first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode are disposed in the active area and insulated from each other. The first sensing electrode includes first main patterns, first neighboring patterns having a smaller area than the first main patterns, and a hole pattern connected to the adjacent first neighboring patterns. The second sensing electrode includes second main patterns, second neighboring patterns adjacent the hole area and having a smaller area than the second main patterns, second connection patterns connected to the second main patterns, and a routing pattern connected to the adjacent second neighboring patterns. The hole pattern is disposed in the hole area, and the routing pattern is disposed in the peripheral area.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a display panel that includes a plurality of light emitting elements, and an input sensor disposed on the display panel and that includes a plurality of mesh patterns. The mesh patterns include a plurality of openings formed therein and spaced apart from each other in a first direction and a second direction that crosses the first direction. The mesh patterns include a plurality of conductive patterns spaced apart from each other in a direction that cross the first and second directions, where a center opening of the plurality of openings is disposed therebetween, and a plurality of mesh lines disposed along an edge of the center opening and connected to the conductive patterns. Each of the conductive patterns includes at least one cut-away portion opened toward one of the openings.
