Abstract: A display device and a method of manufacturing the display device are provided. The display device includes sub-pixels including a first sub-pixel forming a first sub-pixel area providing light of a first color, a second sub-pixel forming a second sub-pixel area providing light of a second color, and a third sub-pixel forming a third sub-pixel area providing light of a third color. The third sub-pixel area is larger than each of the first sub-pixel area and the second sub-pixel area. Each of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel includes a quantum dot light emitting element including a quantum dot light emitting layer. The third sub-pixel includes an organic light emitting element including an organic light emitting element layer.
