Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including first and second display areas adjacent to each other; and first and second data drivers configured to drive the first and second display areas, respectively, wherein the first data driver includes: a first afterimage detector configured to receive an input image and to detect a first afterimage area including an afterimage of the first display area from the input image; a first comparator configured to compare an afterimage detection result of the first display area with an afterimage detection result of the second display area received from the second data driver; and a first coordinate corrector configured to correct coordinates of the first afterimage area in response to the afterimage detection result of the first display area and the afterimage detection result of the second display area satisfying a preset reference.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a plurality of pixels, a data driver, and a timing controller. The plurality of pixels are connected to a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines. The data driver supplies a data voltage to the plurality of data lines in a light-emitting mode and supplies a neural network input voltage to the plurality of data lines in an artificial neural network mode. The timing controller is in an artificial neural network mode, and supplies a weight value control signal for performing a deep learning operation by using at least one of the plurality of pixels to the data driver. The weight value control signal is generated based on a predetermined weight value.

Abstract: A display device includes: pixels arranged in a display area; a timing controller which generates image data of each frame based on an input image signal of the each frame, the timing controller including a logo controller which detects a logo image and a logo area including the logo image from the input image signal of the each frame to control luminance of the logo image; and a data driver which generates a data signal based on the image data and supplies the data signal to the pixels. The logo controller generates a first logo map based on an input image signal of a previous frame, generates a second logo map based on an input image signal of a current frame, and determines a similarity between the first logo map and the second logo map to selectively change luminance of a logo image of a next frame.

Abstract: A display device includes pixels, an image converter generating second image data using first image data of an N-th frame and first image data of an (N+1)th frame; and a data driver supplying a data signal corresponding to the second image data to the pixels during an (N+1)th frame period. The image converter detects a logo and a logo area using the first image data, calculates a first representative value of data corresponding to a peripheral area of the logo area among the first image data of an N-th frame and a second representative value of data corresponding to a reference area among the first image data of the (N+1)th frame, and selectively converts data for the logo among the first image data of the (N+1)th frame according to the first representative value and the second representative value to generate the second image data of the (N+1)th frame.

Abstract: A display device includes pixels; an image converter which generates a second image by correcting grayscales of a logo among a first image for the pixels; and a data driver which provides data voltages corresponding to the second image to the pixels. The image converter generates first accumulated data by accumulating first map data corresponding to a logo area larger than the logo among the first image during a plurality of frame periods, generates second accumulated data by scaling the first accumulated data every refresh cycle, generates third accumulated data by initializing values smaller than a first threshold value among the second accumulated data to be a background value, and specifies pixels corresponding to the logo based on second map data corresponding to the third accumulated data.
