Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display device, the method including providing a first electrode on a base substrate; providing a fluorine-containing pixel defining layer on the base substrate and the first electrode such that the pixel defining layer exposes at least a portion of the first electrode; pretreating the first electrode; and providing an organic layer on the first electrode after pretreating the first electrode, wherein pretreating the first electrode includes performing a first treatment operation of treating an exposed surface of the first electrode using a first plasma gas; and performing a second treatment operation after performing the first treatment operation, the second treatment operation including treating the exposed surface of the first electrode using a second plasma gas, wherein the second plasma gas is different from the first plasma gas and includes hydrogen.

Abstract: A light-emitting element may include a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, a first hole transport layer disposed above the first electrode, a first electron transport layer disposed between the first hole transport layer and the second electrode. A first light-emitting part and a second light-emitting part that emit different light may be disposed between the first hole transport layer and the first electron transport layer. The first light-emitting part may include a first blue emission layer, a second electron transport layer, a charge generation layer, and a second blue emission layer, and the first blue emission layer may be disposed above the first hole transport layer. At least one of the first electron transport layer and the second electron transport layer may be directly disposed above at least one of the first blue emission layer and the second blue emission layer.

Abstract: A display device includes a first pixel area including a first pixel electrode and a first organic light emitting layer, a tandem pixel area including a tandem pixel electrode, a first tandem organic light emitting layer and a second tandem organic light emitting layer, a capping layer including a first capping layer corresponding to the first organic light emitting layer and a tandem capping layer corresponding to both the first tandem organic light emitting layer and the second tandem organic light emitting layer, and a common electrode between the first capping layer and the first organic light emitting layer and between the tandem capping layer and the second tandem organic light emitting layer. Each of the first capping layer and the tandem capping layer has a thickness, and the thickness of the tandem capping layer is smaller than the thickness of the first capping layer.
