Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a first cover plate covering an upper surface of the display panel and including a step portion disposed at an edge portion of the first cover plate, a second cover plate covering a lower surface of the display panel and including a protrusion portion disposed on an upper surface of the second cover plate and not overlap the first cover plate, and a side-surface covering member at least partially covering a portion of a side surface of the display panel which is exposed between the step portion and the protrusion portion.
