Abstract: A display panel is disclosed that includes 2-1 to 2-4 pixel circuit sequentially disposed in a first direction in a second pixel row and 2-1 to 2-4 light emitting area sequentially disposed in the first direction. The 2-1 pixel circuit is connected to a first data line, the 2-2 pixel circuit is connected to a second data line, the 2-3 pixel circuit is connected to a third data line and the 2-4 pixel circuit is connected to a fourth data line. The 2-1 pixel circuit is connected to the 2-3 light emitting area, the 2-2 pixel circuit is connected to the 2-1 light emitting area, the 2-3 pixel circuit is connected to the 2-2 light emitting area and the 2-4 pixel circuit is connected to the 2-4 light emitting area. A color of the 2-1 light emitting area is different from a color of the 2-3 light emitting area.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel having a display region and a panel driver that drives the display panel based on input image data. The panel driver calculates a normal driving frequency for driving a first partial region and a low frequency for driving a second partial region when the input image data represents a moving image for the first partial region and represents a still image for the second partial region, calculates a consumption power required to drive the display panel when an entire section of the second partial region is driven at a same low frequency, calculates a consumption power required to drive the display panel when a partial section of the second partial region and a remaining section of the second partial region are driven at mutually different frequencies, and determines a driving frequency of the second partial region by comparing the consumption powers.

Abstract: A driving controller of a display device controls a scan driving circuit to sequentially drive a first group of scan lines among a plurality of scan lines to an active level during a first low-frequency frame when the operation mode is a low frequency mode and to sequentially drive a second group of scan lines among the plurality of scan lines to the active level during a second low-frequency frame, outputs an image data signal according to a first arrangement order of a plurality of color pixels in a first row during the first low-frequency frame, and outputs the image data signal according to a second arrangement order of the plurality of color pixels in a second row during the second low-frequency frame.

Abstract: A data driver for providing data voltages to a display panel includes a digital-to-analog converting block, an option storing block, a data swap block and an output buffer block. The digital-to-analog converting block converts line data into the data voltages. The option storing block stores a pixel arrangement option representing a pixel arrangement structure of the display panel. The data swap block is connected to the digital-to-analog converting block and the option storing block, and selectively performs a data swap operation that swaps the data voltages based on the pixel arrangement option and whether the line data are odd line data or even line data. The output buffer block is connected to the data swap block and outputs the data voltages on which the data swap operation is selectively performed to data lines.
