Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area, driving elements disposed in the display area, a plurality of pads disposed in the non-display area and electrically connected to the driving elements, an insulating layer partially disposed on the pads to partially expose the pads, a plurality of signal pads disposed on the pads exposed by the insulating layer and electrically connected to the pads, respectively, and an electronic component including a plurality of driving bumps disposed on the signal pads and electrically connected to the signal pads, respectively. A first portion of a first driving bump of the driving bumps is in direct contact with a first signal pad of the signal pads, and a second portion of the first driving bump is in direct contact with a portion of the insulating layer not overlapping with the first signal pad.

Abstract: A flexible display panel includes a display area to display an image, and a non-display area disposed outside the display area. The non-display area includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion extends from the display area, and includes a support layer disposed on a flexible substrate. The second portion extends from the first portion, and is bent from a plane of the first portion. A property of a material of the support layer in the first portion is different than the property of the material of the support layer in the second portion.
