Abstract: Embodiments provide a light emitting element and a display device including the light emitting element. The light emitting element includes a first electrode, a first light emitting unit disposed on the first electrode and including a first emission layer, a charge generation unit disposed on the first light emitting unit, a second light emitting unit disposed on the charge generation unit and including a second emission layer, a second electrode disposed on the second light emitting unit, a first capping layer disposed on the second electrode, and a second capping layer disposed on the first capping layer. The first capping layer includes a first compound represented by Formula 1, and the second capping layer includes a second compound represented by Formula 2-1 or Formula 2-2.
