Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes pixels arranged in areas defined by gate lines and data lines, a gate driver to drive the gate lines, a data driver to drive the data lines in response to an inversion control signal, and a timing controller to control the gate driver and the data driver in response to an image signal and a control signal from an external source. The inversion control signal carries inversion information corresponding to each of the pixels, and the inversion information is repeated at every inversion block including I by J pixels and at every K frame, I, J, and K each being a positive integer.
