An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a main body including a rigid section portion, and a flexible section portion extending from at least one side of the rigid section portion, and a display element, at least a portion of which is disposed on the rigid section portion and another portion is disposed on the flexible section portion. The flexible section portion is bendable to be curved in relation to the rigid section portion, and the display element may be bent to be curved in relation to the rigid section portion together with the flexible section portion.

An electronic device, according to various example embodiments of the present disclosure, may include: a housing; a display disposed to be exposed through one surface of the housing; at least one fastener formed on at least one surface of the housing and configured to be attached to, and detached from, an external electronic device; a communication circuit disposed inside the housing and configured to establish a communication connection with the external electronic device; and a processor disposed inside the housing, wherein the processor is configured to: determine whether the electronic device is connected with the external electronic device through the communication circuit; determine the type of the connected external electronic device when the electronic device is connected with the external electronic device; display, on the display, at least one preset function corresponding to the determined type of the external electronic device among a plurality of functions of the electronic device; and provide a function selected from the at least one function displayed on the display.

A flexible device in which a display is folded is provided. The flexible device includes a main body, a flexible display fixed to a first surface of the main body, and a cover coupled to the main body to face a second surface of the main body, wherein the second surface of the main body is opposite to the first surface of the main body, such that when the main body is curved or folded, the cover moves with respect to the second surface of the main body to compensate for a difference in elongation, which is generated when the main body is curved or folded.

To this end, the present disclosure provides a method for controlling image shooting and image outputting in an electronic device. The method includes: determining whether the electronic device is in an image shooting or image outputting; and controlling a function associated with the determined image shooting or image outputting to be performed through a single lens contained in the electronic device.
