Abstract: A user terminal includes a touch screen configured to receive a touch gesture input and display a screen image, and a control unit configured to set a touch-move determination region with reference to a touch starting point according to the touch gesture input, and when a touch-move line of the touch gesture input passes a predetermined reference region in a predetermined direction in the touch-move determination region, to move and display the screen image in the predetermined direction. The user terminal enables the movement of a screen image in a direction between vertical and horizontal directions, including vertical and horizontal movements and a diagonal movement to be more conveniently and efficiently conducted.
