Abstract: A visual effect provision method and an electronic device using the same. The electronic device includes a display, a bezel bordering at least one side of the display, a light emitting module including multiple light sources, a light diffusing module arranged above the light emitting module to cover the light emitting module, a memory, and a processor configured to control to display an execution screen of an application on the display, determine attribute information on light to be emitted by the light emitting module based on the execution screen of the application, and emit the light by means of the light emitting module based on the attribute information on the light.
