Abstract:
A method of performing interested event based image capture by an electronic device includes receiving a plurality of image frames, storing the plurality of image frames in a high-resolution buffer, converting the plurality of image frames into a plurality of low-resolution image frames, detecting an interested event in at least one low-resolution image frame of the plurality of low-resolution image frames, determining a visual score of the interested event in the at least one detected low-resolution image frame, and obtaining at least one image frame corresponding to the at least one detected low-resolution image frame from the high-resolution buffer, based on the visual score.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for storing, processing and reconstructing full resolution image out of sub band encoded images are provided. The method of rendering high resolution images based on sub-band encoded data of an image includes steps of performing downscaling of a selected image, creating a time-stamped downscaled image, extracting sub-band information associated with the selected image at one instance in time, compressing the downscaled image and the sub-band information, and decompressing and adding the sub-band information with extrapolated downscaled image to reconstruct and render high resolution image.
Abstract:
A method for capturing a video with enhanced quality includes: capturing a reference image via a user equipment (UE), where the reference image is at least one frame of a plurality of frames of the video or an image associated with the video; segmenting the captured reference image into one or more regions; receiving one or more first enhancement parameters for a first region of the one or more regions; initiating a capture of the video based on the one or more first enhancement parameters; identifying a plurality of pixels associated with the first region in each of the plurality of frames of the captured video; and applying the one or more first enhancement parameters to the identified plurality of pixels associated with the first region in each of the plurality of frames.
