Abstract: A method of managing reading and an apparatus efficiently manage stored electronic books. The method of managing reading in a terminal includes: setting a reading period with respect to an electronic book and a reading amount by dates of the reading period; monitoring an achievement rate of the reading amount while executing reading with respect to the electronic book; and displaying reading schedule information including the reading period and the achievement rate.
