Abstract: A keypad fastening apparatus for a portable terminal includes: a housing; a keypad positioned on the housing; and a fastening arrangement configured to fasten the keypad to the housing, the fastening arrangement being positioned along the periphery of the keypad. In the fastening arrangement, a plurality of fasteners are attached to the housing and positioned at least in a part of the periphery of the keypad, in which each of the fasteners is provided with an anti-release part configured to prevent the vertical escaping of the keypad, which is caused when the keypad is pushed.
