Abstract: A method for use with a display device is provided. The method includes outputting content corresponding to a predetermined channel, capturing screen data included in the outputted content, determining content information associated with the screen data from a previously stored electronic program guide, and setting the predetermined channel as a reference channel based on the determined content information.
