Abstract: In an embodiment, an electronic device may include a housing including a first housing structure and a second housing structure that are rotatably connected to each other by a hinge structure; a flexible display including a first area, a second area, and a third area; and a first plate disposed between the housing and the flexible display. The first plate may include a first planar portion facing the first area, a second planar portion facing the second area, and a bendable portion. The first plate may further include at least one opening structure formed at a designated position on the outer sides S of at least one of the first planar portion and the second planar portion to be at least partially stretchable or compressible.

Abstract: An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a housing comprising at least one electronic component disposed within the electronic device, a first separation member configured to separate a first cavity at least partially exposed to an exterior of the electronic device through the housing from a second cavity in which the at least one electronic component is disposed; and a driver disposed in a third cavity spatially coupled with the second cavity in an interior of the housing, the driver configured to generate an air pressure differential between the second cavity and the first cavity. The method operates the device responsive to detecting a water immersion condition by outputting a sound by a speaker device, detecting the outputted sound through a microphone device, determining whether the detected sound matches a predetermined reference value and if so, operating a driver device to discharge the residual water.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing structure including a first housing, a second housing, and a hinge housing, a hinge structure that is at least partially disposed in the hinge housing and that connects at least part of the first housing and at least part of the second housing to allow the first housing and the second housing to be folded or unfolded, with a folding axis therebetween, a display extending from the first housing to the second housing across the hinge housing, and a protective structure disposed at an edge of the hinge housing that faces a direction of the folding axis. The protective structure includes a fixed part disposed in the hinge housing, guide parts disposed in the first housing and the second housing, respectively, and moving parts including cover portions that cover at least parts of a periphery of the display. The moving parts are configured to be movable relative to the guide parts and the fixed part such that a gap between a surface of the display and the cover portions is changed.
