Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). An apparatus that monitors a base station in a wireless communication system and a method therefor are provided. The method of operating the apparatus includes detecting an anomaly occurring in the base station, determining at least one measure, based on the detected result, and performing or outputting the determined at least one measure.
